Style And Ease? You Need A Two Piece!

Lately I’ve been really lazy about getting dressed, I mean extremely. Have you ever seen the movie Marie Antoinette starring Kirsten Dunst as Marie? Every morning when she would rise to get dressed there was someone there to dress her and a host of  people to watch. Now, I wouldn’t go that far as to be watched, but I could’ve used someone as of late to put my arm in a sleeve. *Side bar if you love shoes, please watch that movie, all of the shoes for Marie were designed by Manolo Blahnik!*

These days I’ve been reaching for the  most convenient and not particularly the most stylish thing to wear when I wake up in the morning. I’ve been looking for a way  to marry style and ease that would fit into my fashion aesthetic. Two pieces have been a major trend lately and provide a well put together look with little to no effort.

On one of my most recent thrift trips I set out to take part in the two piece trend but my way, my terms. Two pieces are truthfully everywhere in second hand stores but the key is to find one that does not look dated or to put a modern twist on one that does.

I was beyond thrilled when I walked into The Vault RI and I laid my eyes on a peach Burberry two piece I knew I had to have. When I went into the dressing room fingers crossed and it fit, it was a wrap. It was effortless, easy and chic and I got a gorgeous two piece set out of it and separates for when I want to switch it up.

I’ve officially been initiated into the two piece crew!
